In short
Flowline does not collect any personal data. There is no account, no cloud, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. All data you work with in Flowline stays on your iPhone. We, the developer, receive none of your data.

Apple Health
With your explicit permission, Flowline saves imported rides to Apple Health as workouts with route and sensor data (such as heart rate, power, cadence, speed, distance and active energy). Flowline also reads workouts, routes and measurements to show and analyze them in the app and to detect duplicates before importing. If you turn on automatic import, Apple Health notifies the app about new workouts in the background.
Health data is processed on your device only. It is not sent to us or any third party, not stored in a cloud and not used for advertising, marketing or profiling. Flowline never deletes or changes existing Health data. You decide in the Health app which data Flowline may read and write, and you can change this at any time.
Files
FIT, GPX and TCX files you import are stored as a copy in the app's protected storage on your device. Backups (.flowlinebackup) and exports (GPX, images, videos) are only created when you ask for them; where you share them is up to you.
Photos
When you use "Find photos", Flowline reads the capture time and location of photos in your library, with your permission, to find photos along a route. Only references to the photos you choose are stored; the photos stay in your library. Flyover videos are saved to your library only when you ask.
Apple Maps
Maps, satellite imagery, 3D terrain and place names are provided by Apple through MapKit. For this, your device sends the required map regions or the start and end coordinates of an activity to Apple, without an account and without us having access. Apple's privacy policy applies: apple.com/legal/privacy.
Widget
For the widget, Flowline stores a small summary (such as this week's distance, goal and streak) in storage shared by the app and the widget on your device.
Retention and deletion
You can delete entries in the app at any time. Deleting Flowline from your device removes all data the app stored locally. You manage and delete data in Apple Health in the Health app.
Your rights
Because we receive no personal data from you, there is nothing we could disclose or delete – all data stays with you on your device. If you have questions, contact us at the email address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority; in Austria this is the Datenschutzbehörde (dsb.gv.at).
Children
Flowline is not directed at children and does not collect data from children.
Changes
If the app changes in a way that requires updating this policy, we will update it here and in the app (Settings › About › Privacy).
